Our History

ProTPA is an administration and consulting firm developed by E.S. Beveridge and Associates. Our firm was started in 1950 and focused almost entirely on life insurance. Over the next 25-30 years we expanded to sell and service pension plans and other employee benefits. In the late 1980s we started a TPA firm to service our in-house 401k plans and we continued to expand our knowledge of the retirement business. Through the early ’90s we grew to over 100 in-house 401k plans, and began providing consulting, record keeping, and plan administration for outside advisors.

As outside advisors continued to approach E.S. Beveridge for custom 401k solutions and sales consultation, it became apparent that expanding our services to our outside advisors was an important focus for our business. In 2009 we began developing ProTPA, a program focused first and foremost on providing advisors the tools they need to not only service and administrate a retirement plan, but also the knowledge they need to sell new plans and develop custom retirement plan models designed specifically to meet their client’s needs.
